OAXACA
Located in the southwestern region of Mexico, Oaxaca is famous for its gastronomy and art. You can't leave without trying the mole and Mezcal, arguably the most famous Oaxacan products, but there are many traditional dishes to sample while here. Festivities such as Day of the Dead or the lesser known Guelaguetza, are beautiful celebrations to be a part of and the city goes all out but they do draw a crowd and many hotels get booked out in advance. CANCUN
Cancun is usually the first, and largest, stop on the Riviera Maya on the Caribbean side of Mexico. ISLA MUJERES
Love the Cancun area but prefer to have your wedding somewhere a little less touristy? A short 30-minute ferry ride takes you to Isla Mujeres which offers an alternative from the chaos of Cancun. Enjoy some water activities like scuba diving or snorkeling, or check out the turtle sanctuary. LOS CABOS
